Abstract

This study scrutinizes the narration of Jahilist poetry through Nasser Addine Alasad's book "Sources of Jahilist Poetry and their Historical Value'. This is a central issue upon which the manuscript's parts are built. We attempt to re-examine it using this important book because of its relationship with the issues of registration of Arabic poetry. Plagiarism characterized this problem that led to various, contradictory opinions. Within this framework, we will attempt to explore these issues using Nasser Addine Alasad's work, reading it without narrating and repeating the previous, prevailing assertions in ancient and modern books.
