Revue Al Atharen_US
When writing, the creator is not confronted with language, but with an interaction of languages and usages, commonly known as interlanguage. The case of Algerian intellectuals Gallicized in-between the two wars and torn between two different worlds and cultures, illustrates this dialogic phenomenon. Chukri Khodja’s El Euldj, Captif des Barbaresques, can reply to the feature of polyphony which explains the diversity of languages and styles within romantic statements.en_US
