From a linguistic point of view, translation is related to behaviors of "comprehension and expression." And often, it is conceived as a research exercise between two languages. However, linguists do never foresee the possibility of transferring from one language to another “the existence of term for term correspondences.” This is the reason why professional translators are not in favour of using translation in learning a foreign language. Therefore, we will try, in this article, to focus on the interests and disadvantages of the pedagogical translation.en_US
