The work of this thesis is focuses on two axes: the classification for mapping of lithological units and extraction of lineaments using satellite and aerial image. The first axis aims to select a classification method that take into account the spatial context of the information in a satellite image. Thus, we have adopted three different methods to choose the one that best meets our outcropping conditions: The SVM classification, maximum likelihood and ICM (Iterated Conditional Mode). The second line of this thesis is the extraction of lineaments using satellite images. We proposed a new semi-automatic approach different from other methods of extraction of lineament. It consists of a series of digital processing (textural and spatial filtering, binarization by thresholding and mathematical morphology ... etc.) applied to a LANDSAT 7 ETM + scene. This semi-automatic approach has produced a detailed map of lineaments, while taking account of tectonic directions recognized in the region. The visual validation of these linear structures carried out on land and on the basis of the geological map and existing geosciences data, allowed the identification of the majority of structural lineaments or at least tried geological. The performance of the proposed methods is verified through field data and seismic data analysis and gravimetric results. The integration results in a "GIS" have required the development of a database. This allowed us to significantly improve cartographic rendering of our work, update the geological data of our region thematic analysis on the spatial relationships between mineralization and lithostructural context.
