Abstract: The present study aimed at identifying the availability of good achievement test standards prepared by the academic staff and preparing its items and standards necessary for printing , testing and production . To achieve the aims of the study descriptive analytical methodology was adopted an a content of 36 achievement tests were analyzed for the academic year 2012-2013 and administered to the instrument of the study represented in the preparation of good achievement test .The results concluded the following results: - The required standards in the area of writing a good achievement test instructions and the preparation of its items came at weak percentages and the standards concerning test typing and production was at a medium rate . -These results were first interpreted as a weakness in formation and teacher training in the area of constructing objective achievement tests either pre or in-service . Also, the results of the study concluded that teachers use essay questions more than objective questions since it is easy to prepare in addition to the importance of this kind of questions in this educational stage through which the teacher seeks to measure the high abilities of the students thinking.
