Abstract: The article presents an ongoing research we proposed that oriented towardsthe study of writing in a didactic perspective, which focuses mainly on the notion of representation. This notion draws attention fromdidacticians in recent years because itis likely to contribute to the scientific advancement of the didactics, especially for written competence. Indeed, we first try to clarify this notion and then to adapt it to our present research. The subsequent part is to explore the opportunity to use the results of our study in an academic context.
