It clarifies the concept of the importance of introduction in grabbing the addressee to go straight to the point. It stands on its constituent elements to answer the salient axes in the speech structure. It monitors the introductory elements of the speaker's function who is responsible for the speech acts and its impact on the recipient. It focuses on the writer's plans to let the recipient to complete reading.
