This paper deals with epithets of poets. The large number of epithets that are styled poets has become a phenomenon draws attention, whether in poetry, critical works, or in the books of biographies and autobiographies, past and present. Here, we do not mean by epithet, which performs the function of syntactic in grammatical context, as it is known, but what refers to a critical value, or what is understood as classification of the poet, even if it does not give a judgment of value.
