Abstract

The study of textual thresholds has become one of the important critical approaches, which can not be ignored by creative writers or critics. These textual entries are like mines of questions that stimulate both Creative writing and also critical analysis. For this reason, we have chosen among the thresholds the discourse of dedication in the Saudi literature, in view of the consciousness on the part of the writers in their speeches of dedication in their work of creation. This discourse exists in the heritage of Arabic writing. For it has become a strange tradition in the present day, which has put a critical mechanism of dedication reading by (the Western Other), which we take to read the discourse of dedication in Saudi literature, trying to Through the study of a book prepared by Mohamed Abdelrazaq Alkachaami (Dedicated books), which is one of the few Arab literary books, in the Arabic literary and criticial constitution at the same time, and this is what Has motivated to seek and reveal this consciousness and its practices.
