Abstract

The relationship between the media and the phenomenon of terrorism is still a Complex issue, that's what worries the professionals, the supervisors of the media institutions and political systems alike. Media can play an important role in raising public opinion about the importance and the need to face the phenomenon of terrorism, But at the same time it can be a strategic weapon for terrorists; It provides them with the propaganda through spreading and broadcasting their statements and actions. So, this study has sought to address the Arab media deal with the issue of terrorism, and its impact on the security situation in the Arab region , especially because of the absence of security and stability in the Arab region which led to the Appearance of new terrorist organizations, as the case of the Islamic state organization in Syria and Iraq "Daesh" ; In addition to the great development of the media and technology.
