dc.description.abstractThe present study aimed to uncover the phenomenon of parsing phobia among students of Arabic Departments at Aljouf University by adopting the descriptive research method. The original population of the study consisted of male and female students majoring Arabic at the university. The sample size included (475) male and female students who were selected randomly. A thirty-two item questionnaire was used in the data collection, representing the four hypotheses of what could be the reason for the emergence the phenomenon. They include the hypothesis of teaching-staff member, the hypothesis of the students, the hypothesis of the syllabus and the hypothesis of the teaching method.en_US
