Satellite imagery has become a privileged source of information acquisition that complements and enriches those obtained using other means and techniques (Soil measurement networks, digital simulation models, …). Our study concerns the use of the potential of multi-spectral satellite imagery recorded by the SEVIRI radiometer embedded on the Meteosat Second Generation (MSG) satellite for spectral reflectance estimation and the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index NDVI to identify the vegetation cover and follow the dynamics of the soil condition.en_US
