dc.description.abstractThis study aims to analyze and discuss the situation of women in the Algerian labor market, in order to highlight the most important social, cultural and economic transformations that have had a significant impact on women's work in Algeria, highlighting all the indicators adopted for the analysis of the labor market, such as the evolution of the workforce size, distribution and rate of women's participation therein. Based on the objectives of the study and analyzes and discussions, it was concluded that the level of labor market indicators, the women's employment rates are on the rise, but it is limited is not commensurate with the number of active women, either at the level of determinants, the study found that women's work is still linked to the traditional cultural heritage, which refuses I leave to work outside the home, in addition to the concentration of women in certain disciplines of the profession, that fit the traditional role of women which is compatible with the prevailing social trends.en_US
