dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study was to reveal the relationship between motivation for learning and achievement in the first year secondary students, descriptive study in El Oued city in the academic year 2014-2015. The sample of the study consisted of 72 students. The researcher used the measure of motivation for learning by Prof. Ahmed Duqa and others. The study reached the following results: - There is a relationship between motivation for learning and achievement in the first year secondary students. - There are statistically significant differences in scholastic achievement among students of the first year secondary by sex variable in favor of females. - There are statistically significant differences in motivation for learning among students of the first secondary year according to gender variable in favor of females.en_US
