Abstract

The present study aims to answer the following question how did both space and time impact in tracing the aspects of identity in the novel " The myth of the strong man " by Boumedien Belkebir ?.It focuses on two central narrative tools: space and time through which characters and plot develop. This study attempts to investigate the aspects of the lost identity in this novel which reflect the split in the personality of its characaters between their Algerian origin and the newly French one.
