The present paper aims at showing the importance of using stylistics in the English as a foreign language (EFL) classroom. The main feature of stylistics is finding out the significance of the use of certain linguistic patterns. The goal of this paper is to investigate what style means in relation to literary language, what methods can be used to tackle literary style and how these methods may be applied to solve some pedagogical problems of EFL teaching. Using stylistics in the EFL classroom can help both the teacher and the learner to overcome all the language and cultural barriers that hinder the teaching learning process.en_US
