dc.description.abstractThe study aimed to know the extent through which the university administration in applying the principles of quality in higher education, and the teachers’ pointe of view conserning the necessity of the selection of the higher admistrative positions. And also knowing the extent of the contribution of the university administration quality in achieving the job stability and the decison making. A study questionnaire was distributed on a sample of 30 teachers at the humans and social sciences faculty in Amar Thelidji - Laghouat. Through our study we found that the university administration seeks to apply the principles and culture of the administrative quality, but it is not effective and it is not sufficent ti achieve the best performance of the university teacher. In addition to this, the higher administrative positions should be sellected according to some personal characteristics and values, and some behavioral skills such as social competensy and the leadership behavior. Therefor, the visions and preferences amoung the teachers differed concerning the importance of the stability of some higher typical positions .en_US
