Abstract: The present study aimed at finding out the extent to which anthropometric measurements fit the chairs and tables of the terraces of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences with the physical dimensions of students in the first year of social sciences. To achieve these objectives, the traditional anthropometry and measuring tape were used to measure the body dimensions of the students and to extract the anthropometric measurements of the chairs, The situation of students adopted during the course of teaching, where a sample of 150 students from the first year of social sciences, and results have not been suitable for some of the physical dimensions of students, (height of sitting, shoulder height, The back of the chair, the height of the chair, the distance between the chair and the table, the display of the table surface), which causes the student to take uncomfortable seating positions (the torso of the trunk to the front) , Neck curvature, trunk failure on the surface of the chair) causing him pain and disorders at the level of the spine and neck and shoulders and this is what was concluded through the observation conducted by the researcher, which in turn affects the achievement of students through the lack of focus attention which It is very painful and painful to sit down.
