dc.description.abstractThe current study aims to identify the role model student characteristics and their extent represented at Shaqra University students from the viewpoint of their professors, as well as to identify the impact of the variables of gender and type of college. To achieve this, the researcher conducts the current study on a random sample of 90% of the study population who are staff members of the colleges of education and colleges of Applied Medical Sciences at the University of Shaqra. The researcher uses the descriptive approach for the study and a survey questionnaire as a tool, after ensuring its validity, reliability and stability. The study results show that the degree represented of the students of the University of Shaqra about the characteristics of the role model student is medium in general. The higher field of the role model student characteristics represented at Shaqra University students is generally the field of ethical standards, followed by the field of ​​personal features. The lowest represented field of the role model student characteristics is the field of educational standards. The highest scores representing students of Shaqra University about the characteristics of the role model student are when a student says salaam (greets his colleagues) when entering a hall, addresses his colleagues by names and nicknames that they like, pays attention to good-looking. The lowest scores representing students of Shaqra University about the characteristics of the role model student are the possession of the desire of research and academic reading, bearing the burden of learning and its duties magnanimously, possession of references and sources of courses. The study finds that there are no statistically significant differences due to the variable of gender responses, and there are significant differences statistically attributed to the type of college in favor of the College of Applied Medical Sciences.en_US
