Contribution of Agricultural Support Policies in Economic Growth for Sustainable Development - Case of Algeria During the Period (1980-2016) -

Abstract

This article aims at discussing the impact of the agricultural support policies adopted in Algeria during the period (1980-2016) through the Autoregressive Distributed Lag model (ARDL). The results showed a long-run equilibrium relationship between economic growth and agricultural support policies. We suggeste to the investors the investment in the agricultural sector, in order to make financial gains from their investments and contribute to sustainable development.
