dc.description.abstractThe political and economic changes in the world have contributed to the spread of globalization, and the latter have advantages and disadvantages. In fact, globalization affects tourism and is influenced by tourism, all of which lies in the link between tourism and all aspects of globalization, such as the development of information and communication technology. This has led to the emergence of e-tourism applications in the global tourism market, such as the application of GIS in tourism. Algeria has a comparative advantage in terms of tourist attractions, and despite its share of global tourism, it still faces many constraints, including the ineffectiveness of tourism marketing, especially electronic, in which Geographic Information Systems (GIS) plays an important role. Through the aforementioned mentioned was our main question about how Algeria benefits from the use of GIS in the tourism development.en_US
