Les interactions verbales entre médecins cubains et patients algériens, enquête sociolinguistique au sein de l’hôpital ophtalmologique de l’amitié Algérie-Cuba à Ouargla

Abstract

La communication est un élément essentiel au déroulement des soins médicaux qui se réalise par le biais de la langue. Sachant que la langue médicale est incompréhensible notamment en langues étrangères, elle constitue un obstacle majeur qui a des séquelles sur la qualité et l’accès aux soins. Notre enquête est menée au sein de l’hôpital ophtalmologique de l’amitié Algérie-Cuba, dans milieu arabophone et des praticiens de la santé cubains qui emploient l'espagnol comme langue maternelle. Ce contact des langues en résulte une variation linguistique qui complique l’entretien thérapeutique. Ce travail a comme objectif principal de montrer la (les) langue(s) utilisée(s) comme instrument de communication au moment de la consultation médicale et les principales difficultés qui émergent lors des interactions verbales mettant en face à face un patient arabe et un médecin cubain et les solutions adoptées pour surmonter ces difficultés. Abstract Communication is an essential element in the delivery of medical care through the use of language. Knowing that the medical language is incomprehensible especially in foreign languages, it is a major obstacle which has consequences on quality and access to care. Our survey is conducted within the Algeria-Cuba Friendship Ophthalmology Hospital, in the Arabic speaking community and Cuban health practitioners who use Spanish as their mother tongue. This contact of languages results in a linguistic variation that complicates therapeutic maintenance. The main objective of this work is to show the language (s) used as an instrument of communication at the time of the medical consultation and the main difficulties that arise during the verbal interactions confronting an Arab patient and a Cuban doctor and the solutions adopted to overcome these difficulties. Keywords: communication - medical language - verbal interaction - contact of languages - linguistic variation.الملخص: الاتصال هو عنصر أساسي في سير الرعاية الصحية والذي يتحقق عن طريق اللغة مع العلم أن اللغة الطبية غير مفهومة خاصة في اللغات الأجنبية حيث تشكل عائق كبير له تأثيرات على نوعية الحصول على الرعاية. تحقيقنا اجري داخل مستشفى طب العيون الصداقة الجزائر- كوبا في وسط ناطق بالعربية و مهنيين صحيين كوبيين الذين يستعملون اللغة الاسبانية كلغة أم . احتكاك اللغات هذا نتج عنه تنوع لغوي مما عقد اللقاءات العلاجية. الهدف الرئيسي من هذا العمل هو إبراز اللغة أو اللغات المستعملة كأداة اتصال خلال الاستشارات الطبية و أهم الصعوبات التي تظهر أثناء التفاعلات اللفظية بين مريض عربي و طبيب كوبي و الحلول المعتمدة لاجتياز هذه الصعوبات.
