Abstract: The Consumer Loan is a modern credit facility and a personal financing tool within a national strategy, it is also a contract that responds to the consumers’ needs, whereby the lender undertakes to grant credit to the borrower in the form of a reduced or partial repayment of the loan or the price of the commodity or providing a service intended for personal or family use and is no longer restricted to credit Which is granted to natural persons only, and is no longer the exclusive domain of civil transactions, but has been taken care of and financed by banks and financial institutions specialized in this field until it became a major party in the contractual relationship. As the practical reality showed what is known as consumer loans granted by banks and financial institutions. The consumer loan contract draws its legal system from various legal sources in its application which are governed by classical rules of civil law, on the other hand, some are governed by special rules regulating banking activity at the national and international levels.
