Abstract

The multifaceted commonality has witnessed several studies by researchers. Among these studies is discourse analysis, whereas others concern themselves with interpretive semantics in the light of what the speaker says basing on the signifying process. This latter seeks to reach the meaning through the context in which the speaking takes place.

The discursive concomitance which emanated from the analytical philosophy “ordinary language philosophy” is considered the most important of those sides. That is, it is concerned with studying language during the addressing process, or yclept the discursive interaction. This research paper will tackle the conditions of Paul Grice’s presuppossition success.
