Abstract

Il s’agit dans ce travail d’une étude thématique du roman d’Etienne Dinet qui s’intitule Le pèlerinage à la maison sacrée d’Allah. Nous apercevons à travers l’œuvre un mélange d’imagination et d’anecdotes puisées dans l’aventure que l’écrivain a vécue sur le territoire sacré. L’auteur noue des relations dans le but d’élaborer un transfert mutuel sur tous les plans : racial, religieux et culturel. Ce genre de littérature se veut le moyen efficace à travers lequel Dinet transmet son vécu et ses découvertes au lecteur afin de solliciter sa curiosité et l’invite à revivre cette expérience. Cette dernière participe à l’enrichissement du lecteur rencontré et de son nouvel univers. Nous nous sommes basée sur une lecture thématique qui nous a aidé à s’introduire dans le texte et à repérer les signes d’entrecroisement des cultures occidentale et arabo-musulmane. La diversité, l’ouverture sur l’autre ne sont qu’un signe de tolérance et de reconnaissance qui vise aux échanges des cultures et au bonheur des nations selon Dinet. Abstract: The present research is a thematic study of Etienne Dinet’s novel entitled” The Pilgrimage to the Sacred Home”. This novel presents a mixture between reality and fiction that emerge from the adventure experienced by the author in the Sacred Land. The author is willing to build relations so as to achieve a change on different levels: racial, religious and cultural. This type of literature is the best means to transfer what a religious man can see and explore. It stimulates the desire of exploring things and invites the reader to live the experience through the new world offered to him or her. We focus on a thematic reading to help us to go into details and find out the signs of the enrichment between the two cultures: the Western Culture and the Arab and the Muslim one.
