In this work, we calculated the line profiles for hydrogen Lyman series with and without fine structure using path integral approach. We expressed the time evolution operator matrix ele- ments in the dipole auto-correlation function by Feynman propagators. The latter are evaluated using perturbation series with respect to the interaction with the perturbing electric field. Our calculation for the line shapes of the Lyman series in hydrogen plasmas, based on path integrals, is carried out in quasi-static approximation for the ionic micro-field. Furthermore, ion dynamics has been treated within model micro-field method (MMM). In the impact approximation, the effect of electrons on the radiator is given by a collision operator. The comparison with the quantum statistical approach is performed for a wide range of plasma parameters. We found good agree- ment between path integral and quantum statistical approaches, in particular for low densities and high temperatures
