dc.description.abstractThe current study aims to reveal the effectiveness of Jackson's upward relaxation in alleviating exams’ anxiety for the students taking the baccalaureate exam. The researcher has adopted the experimental clinical method, by applying the SARS test scale as a pre and posttraumatic measurement technique, on four female students in literature and philosophy, and whose ages range from 17-19 years, provided that they are between the intermediate and up-intermediate level and haven’t failed the year. The results of the study showed that Jacobson's upward relaxation therapy is effective in reducing exams’ anxiety among students who are taking the baccalaureate exam ,and there is a difference in the efficiency of Jacobson's upward relaxation therapy at Sarson (cognitive, behavioral and physiological) test anxiety dimensions for female students who are taking the baccalaureate exam; the results obtained showed a difference in the effectiveness of relaxation therapy especially at the behavioral dimension level , followed by both the cognitive and physical dimensions in close proportions.en_US
