Abstract: This research aims to show that the change in the Algerian family was a result of changing demographic and social factors at the end of the last century and the beginning of the present century, which can be included as independent factors and their reflection on the family as the subordinate factor. This is due to the lack of realistic statistical data in this field. Perhaps the most important factors that the researcher focused on are: delayed marriage age, use of contraception, fertility level, increasing schooling, women's exit to work. Based on data from the Algerian National Survey on the Transformations of Family Structures carried out by the National Center for Studies and Analysis of Planning (CENEAP) during the year 2000, the data of the Multi-Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) 2012-2013, and the National Statistics Bureau (ONS)
