Sufism's text's are opened to multiple readings and interpretations because of their spiritual and intellectual dimensions, which vary according to different societies and religions. Many of the scholars refer the emergence of Sufism into Islam, which has been known to and spread among Muslims since the advent of Islam in the Arabian Peninsula. Many orientalists turned to the study of the texts of Sufism to dive more in the knowledge of the spiritualities of this religion. Among the orientalists is the German philosopher Anna Marie Schimmel, who has written many books on Islamic Sufism in the East (India, Pakistan ...). Her interesting works show us the shadow side for a long time in the Arab studies.Through the texts in her books (spiritual female femininity in Islam, and nightingales under the snow) she takes us through a tour of spiritual and aesthetic art.en_US
