Abstract: In this study we seek to understand the cultural practices in the daily life of the Algerian family in the Algerian south by presenting a set of concepts that raise many problems and questions worthy of reflection, reflection and study. The topic begins by understanding the cultural consumption of the Algerian family. Two basic hypotheses are that the Algerian family has a cultural consumption that is manifested through a variety of cultural practices, and that the diversity of tastes has produced a distinction between family and others. Consumer practice produces social differentiation between individuals and families and thus produces differentiation Social development in Algerian society. A qualitative approach has been adopted to understand the consumer practice in Algerian society in general and local Bourgala in particular. The study found that there is a competition between the social fields in consumption, which made virtual areas a space in which people interact, especially social networking sites and the most important result of our access to cultural tastes and practices have become a consumer area is somewhat similar between all social areas, trying to approach the global culture But it is somewhat different from cultural heritage and cultural identity
