The reality of the industrial sector in Algeria and ways to develop it.

Abstract

This study aims to shed light on the economic performance of the industrial sector in Algeria in an attempt to highlight the status of this sector for the national economy, the main obstacles facing it, and ways of developing it. Through the definition of the most important characteristics of this sector and its current situation, and to identify the most important reasons for the failure of manufacturing strategies in Algeria and the obstacles to its development. The study found that this sector is characterized by vulnerability and weak competitiveness, which emphasizes the need to continue economic reforms of this sector to be able to contribute more effectively to economic development.
