The idea of consolidating institutional quality and development through ICT continues to fuel controversy. Despite the current context of intensive use of information in many activities, the contribution of ICTs to developing countries is still disputed. Compared to these countries, these tools are considered by their detractors as an unproductive luxury with regard to traditional development priorities. However, this article aims to point out the weaknesses of this consideration. This is why we have tried to highlight the potential of ICT integration in governance, all through the reality and the stakes of this integration in Algeria.en_US
