Governance as a mechanism for activating public-private partnership

Abstract

The issue of public-private partnership has had a considerable attention from governments around the world after it became animportant factor in process of economic and social growth depends on mobilizing all energies of society. Therefore, governments seeking to adopt an efficient partnership with all partners, which contribute in Managing public affairs,basing on accountability, transparency and mutual benefits.

In order of this topic importance, this study has attempted to analyses the Mechanisms of activating the public-private partnership in the perspective of good governance by addressing the ways of reforming the two sectors to achieve this mutual partnership. On the other hand, we try to study a several of global models that proved its role in successful of partnership between the two sectors (Public and private) in achieving development.
