dc.description.abstractThe study aimed at revealing the quality of evaluation of talented students in mathematics from the point of view of teachers, by basing their evaluation process on strategies based on modern trends as an approach to determine quality in the evaluation process. In order to achieve the aims of the study and answer its questions, a questionnaire was designed; psychometric characteristics were also confirmed. A descriptive analytical method was adopted. The study sample consisted of 35 teachers who taught third year talented students in mathematics. They were chosen intentionally, during the academic year 2014/2015, in some secondary schools for the talented in mathematics. we found as results that teachers base the evaluation process of talented students in mathematics of third year level of secondary schools on evaluation process on strategies based on modern trends, in medium to high degree. These results shows generally the presence of some indicators to use quality in talented students’ evaluation, to get good training in quality in order to apply it in a full way.en_US
