Abstract: This article dealt with the subject of Algerian media and its impact on political awareness of the Algerian society with its three dimensions: The cognitive dimension and the affective dimension (Emotional and behavioral dimension) the article presented a central problem concerning the effects of the Algerian media, the article studied the habits and patterns in relation with the use of the media by Algerian citizens without forgetting the reasons and motivations that makes the Algerian citizen follow the media, the amount and how much the Algerian citizen trust the political contents of the Algerian media and its relation with the political awareness of the Algerian individual through a field study of a sample of the Algerian community in the state of SKIKDA.
