Abstract: To overcome the limitation of some of the metaheuristic optimization algorithm engineer tries to developed new algorithm or modified the older one by making combination between metaheuristic algorithm that are already exist this process is called hybridization and it’s become an important tool to solve many real-life optimization applications in the industry. This paper proposes a hybrid algorithm based on the combination between differential evolution algorithm and particle swarm optimization algorithm .the algorithm was tested on well knowing mechanical benchmark and the results are compared to other optimization algorithm from literature
