|Résumé: ||The pedagogical requirements gave pictures an Important part in
Algerian school manuals.
The role of pictures has become more sensitive with the emergence of
multimedia. Our pupils are permanently exposed to the picture. It is, thus,
important to give the pupils the means and the possibilities of an
"awakening" on the image which, in turn is vital to an awakening with a
underemployed by the teachers. Probably due to a back of training but also
and above all because of an over value attributed to the written text
considered as more yielding than the picture.
Starting from an analysis of the picture in the school manual four
study, we came to the conclusion that its integration did not really reach its
objectives because it was not only under the influence of cultural
constraints, but equally because of the discrepancies in the choices of the
text and the corresponding images.
Finally, the integration of pictures in the school manual for
pedagogical reasons must conform to certain conditions which require a
harmonions cooperation between pedagogs and school manual conceptors.|
