Abstract: In view of the increasing incidence of the deadly HIV virus and its rapid spread among the population in Algeria in general, for example, the state of Ouargla, this study explores the main demographic determinants contributing to this, as well as measuring its prevalence in order to draw attention and raise awareness of the seriousness of this silent disease, so that policymakers can formulate policies And the necessary measures to curb it and reduce its spread on the one hand, as well as the use of these determinants as indicators in the planning for prevention in the future on the other hand as a disease can not be treated except to prevent it. Their ranking is as follows: religion, educational level, physical level (occupation), immigration, marital status, fertility, age, gender.
