This study aims to give some informations of the various facets which govern the management of the irrigation in the palm grove of N’goussa village in Algerian northern Sahara. The agriculture subdivision maintained the principle of an ancestral management system resting on a dowser which manages the irrigation. Our investigations on ground revealed an insufficiency of the attributed parts of water. This problem was the triggering factor for this work because of a highly-rated one, the water in Sahara of fossil origin and in phenomenal quantity, does not establish a problem in view of availability.
