We present in this article our study which was aimed to describe and evaluate the authority and power of violent transaction families and to determine their management and characteristics that contribute to the genesis of these violent transactions. To achieve these objectives, we conducted a study that focused on three Algerian families with violent transaction with two subjects for each family. To do so, we chose the clinical method that is based on the case study. Data were collected using the semi-directive interview for the research with a content analysis according to R. Mucchielli's technique and the Family Adaptability System Test (FAST). The results revealed the presence of a faulty authority and power within our families studies in relation to the normal family hierarchy and the normally functioning of the family system. This failure qualified as abusive and disproportionate affects, without exception, all family subsystems, even parent /child, conjugal and fraternal.en_US
