During this study, we have tried to highlight the effect of the use of the magnetic process of desalinization of irrigation water on the soils of the region Hassi Ben Abdellah - wilaya of Ouargla - for this purpose. We were able to make a comparison between two pivots, a pivot not associated with the water magnetizer (non-magnetized pivot) and a pivot associated with this device (magnetized pivot). This comparison is based on the estimation of the efficiency of the water magnetization device by physicochemical and microbiological analyzes of the soil. We have noticed that the magnetization of irrigation water has an effect on pH, but it doesn’t have a direct effect on and soil salinity and SAR, and electrical conductivity. In addition, there is a decrease in soil microbial biomass. However, the results of the magnetization effect on the yield have been always conclusive.
