Abstract: With the evolution of technology, WSN became a future renaissance. Even though, it still facing different challenges. Healthcare and in vivo applications have their share of this evolution, within WBANs. Routing in WBANs always represent one of the biggest challenges due to the absence of infrastructure of the networks and the environment unique proprieties. Temperature rise and the heat generated by WBANs affects directly the in vivo environments and can cause serious damages. Thus, researchers proposed LTR, a routing protocol that is thermal-aware, and it is our study case in this work. After implementing the LTR protocol, we worked on adapting it to support Dual Sink architecture, then we ran several tests and simulations using Castalia under OMNeT++ simulator, aiming to enhance LTR performance.
