dc.description.abstractThe study aims at recognizing Students Counselor's Role in Restricting Violence Phenomenon at School from his/her Perspective. As for data, the researcher has developed and distributed a questionnaire responded by 50 out of 70 male and female counselors working for the Ministry of Education in the has concluded with the following points; (1) counselor's role in restricting violence at schools demonstrates a high degree, (2) arranged on significance, among the aspects regarding the counselor's role in restricting violence at school are; (i) entrenching students with positive values and (ii) working on improving child's personality through discussion techniques. Finally, (3) the study shows no significant statistic differences at the level of (a≤0.05) that affect the counselor's role in restricting school violence regarded to variations of gender, degree, specialization or years of experience. Accordingly, the researcher recommends the following pints; (a) educational counseling should receive special attention due to the vital role counselors in restricting school violence.en_US
