Commercial dumping is considered as a monopolistic practice that threatens the economic and financial interests of the national industry, since dumping is based on selling exported goods in the local markets at a lower price than the one of the original country. This search attempts to identify the most important legal mechanisms that have been put in place to combat dumping as agreed in GATT. Also to take measures to counter these monopolistic practices and the conditions for applying anti-dumping mechanism. For that, we have followed the analytical approach, as it appropriate to the nature of the study. We have also reached a number of important conclusions, namely the difficulty of determining the margin of dumping in cases where the commodity concerned with dumping does not exist in the importing country, as well as facing formal and objective complex conditions to take anti-dumping measures, which makes combating this international monopolistic practice a difficult task.en_US
