Abstract: The reality of the Arabic language today indicates its weakness due to the backwardness of its people and the progress of other nations. Great efforts have been made to restore this language to its status. The starting point was in that interest in its education curricula, but many factors prevented the achievement of goals. The most important of these reasons are the poor level of teachers, curriculum turmoil, and the unhelpful environment. As for the factors for the advancement of teaching the Arabic language, many scholars have addressed them, led by Professor Hajj Saleh, who focused on that on the most important points, the need to reform the curricula, focus on the needs of the learner, and care grammar and rhetoric together, and the need to focus on skill acquisition, which is what we will address in this article.
