dc.description.abstractLiterary criticism has a prominent place in the sciences of the Arabic language today, but before it became a stand-alone science, it took different phases and stages since the beginning of the twentieth century, and was early in the first derive from Western theories through translation, and the movements of revival and Baath that emphasized the exclusion of monetary values Until these views and those extremists collided with an extremist current as a deterrent from the Western curriculum and took it as a necessary alternative to the traditionalapproaches . Modern Arab criticism in its evolutionary stage has hit two intellectual currents, The first is inspired by the West's artistic visions and makes comparisons between Arab and Western literature on the basis of fascination and admiration, and the second does not count only on the ground of heritage criticism stems from respect and sanctification of the old. The two streams coexisted side by side before an extreme current emerged that abolished the old and old. And be a war on the conservatives and semi-renewal, and seeks a revolutionary coup literature that only satisfies the new at once. How did the first rules contribute to the Arab criticism?
