Abstract

This article attempts to examine one of the topics of heritage - preceeding and delaying- according to a pragmatic vision, trying to answer the following questions: To what extent can the concepts of the old rhetorical lesson be approached with the concepts of modern pragmatic studies ?and what addition can such a study achieve? Therefore, we will try to study a part from rhétorique heritage according to modern vision, by approaching one of the chapters of the old rhetorical lesson.
