dc.description.abstractThe Cambrian reservoirs of the El Gassi field are characterized by a rather strong heterogeneity linked on the one hand to the geometry of sandstone bodies and on the other hand to very important tectonic phenomena. The petrophysical study revealed a heterogeneous distribution of porosity as well as permeability at these two reservoirs. Moreover, the Petrophysical (porosity and permeability), structural and lithological results obtained made it possible to build from the Petrel software a 3D geological model of the Cambrian reservoir. This modeling, has shown that the reservoir properties; structural, petrophysical are closely related to tectonic movements. For this purpose, these properties have prevailed in the area near the faults.en_US
