Abstract: This study aimed to identify the effect of job satisfaction on behavior of organizational citizenship. The study assumed the existence of a statistical significant relationship between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior, as well as the existence of a statistical significant relationship between job satisfaction (Intrinsic and Extrinsic) and the dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior, which include (Altruism, Courtesy, Sportsmanship, Civic virtue, and Conscientiousness). A questionnaire was used to collect the data from (93) employees from Ophthalmology Hospitalion institution in El-oued, to achieve the objectives and hypotheses of the study by opting a survey method. We have identified a strong positive effect of the job satisfaction dimension on the organizational citizenship behavior dimension, we should mention that internal job satisfaction has stronger effect on organizational citizenship behavior dimension, than external job satisfaction, only altruism dimension was affected by external job satisfaction, while internal job satisfaction has no significant effect on it.
