dc.description.abstractThe problem of water production is one of the major concerns of the oil industry and a key component of production costs.Several techniques were used to determine the causes and mechanisms of water inflows, and then the methods available to make a correct diagnosis to carry out the Water Shut Off and the strategy to be followed. An analysis of a previously performed operation was completed and a diagnosis was applied using the WOR and WOR’ plots method and an economic study using the EXCEL software.en_US
